Vlog #1 – Channel Updates – Audio, Soldering, etc.

I am constantly looking to improve the experience of my viewers and followers and thus wanted to share these updates.

Soldering Station Upgrade

The first item I invested in is the Hakko FX-888D Soldering Station. This tool is a massive upgrade from the soldering irons I have used in the past and will definitely give me an edge over what I used to solder with. I haven’t completed any projects with it yet, but I am looking forward to putting together a kit or two for my viewers in the near future.
If you are interested in checking out the soldering station I got, check it out below:

Microphone Upgrade

I have been recording videos for over a year and my two audio recording systems have been my Sony Camera and my Logitech headset. Both of these options were not ideal, but I didn’t bother investing in better equipment until now. My newest acquisition in order to improve the quality of my recordings is the Audio-Technica PRO70. This professional grade microphone is a huge step-up from my previous setup and I hope to elimiate some of the audio complaints, although justified, from my videos.
Once again, if you are interested in what the microphone actually does, feel free to check it out on Amazon and let me know what you think!

Social Media Presence Upgrade

If you are reading this post, then you are already aware that I’ve decided to launch a website and updated most of my social media outlets. I’ve had links to my Facebook and Twitter channels for a while now, but never bothered to keep them up to date and create any content for them. I have decided that it would be beneficial for my viewers to have several ways to interact with me and put in some time to make sure everything is fully functional and ready to go. You can expect more updates from my through all of my social media outlets, so follow, subscribe and leave me a comment or two!
